I completed this brand development for my Information Design class in Winter 2026. The task was to create a brand complete with a creative brief, visual translation, logo, and brand standards.
I designed a yoga and pilates studio called Sein. Sein is the German verb “to be” which demonstrates the emphasis on present wellness. Pilates originated in Germany so I wanted to create a brand name that was unique but connected to practice.
To build the brand I focused on what I appreciate most about yoga, pilates, and wellness that can be translated to a group fitness environment.
I built the logo in Illustrator using squares and cut away sections to create the letters. I enjoyed choosing the colours, typography, and brand messaging.
